His extensive transportation background began twenty-five years ago in the port city of Jacksonville, Florida. Having substantial grassroots knowledge of shipping alternatives, industry wide corporate participants, and the strengths and capabilities of individuals, Logistics prides itself on finding effective and economical alternatives for each customer. Logistics, Inc., is an international freight forwarding company located in Baltimore, Maryland, and licensed by the Federal Maritime Commission. Established in October 1997, Logistics, Inc. works with manufacturers and shippers through out the United States, handling products for delivery to foreign buyers worldwide. Diverse services are offered which may involve the transportation of products ranging from food and healthcare commodities to project cargo shipments. Shipment sizes may be as small as one cubic meter, up to and including, over-dimensional cargo. Logistics also arranges for export packing and crating services, along with warehousing and distribution of both domestic and international shipments via air carriers, ocean carriers, and inland transportation to remote parts of the world. Working closely with each customer, Logistics facilitates documentation, legalization, and letters of credit, all part of the comprehensive day to day handling of transportation traffic by the staff and management.

Remie Danielson, the founder and president of Logistics, Inc., has been active in the international transportation industry for over twenty-five years, beginning with Shipside Packing Company, a Lavino Shipping subsidiary. Remie was the account manager of the consolidation, export packing and shipping of Bechtel’s Iraqi Project for the petrochemical complex built in Basra from 1979 to 1983. He also handled significant export shipments for York Manufacturing including their HVAC equipment.

Prior to opening Logistics, Inc., Remie was a key employee of Harper Robinson / Circle International, Corporations, where he led a team which set up a 65,000 square foot facility for the export packing and crating of Circle’s Foreign Military Project. The Project included F-16 aircraft parts and equipment sold to the Kuwait Government in 1989. 

Upon completion of this project, he opened Logistics, Inc., along with a support company called International Support Services, LLC (ISS).   The combination of the two companies has assisted the logistical needs and product services of third party companies doing exporting worldwide.

He is an active member and supporter of the Baltimore Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarder Association, Baltimore Traffic Club, The Propeller Club, Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce, Dundalk Chamber of Commerce, along with other civic and government organizations.
